Justin Mott is an award-winning documentary, editorial and commercial photographer based in Vietnam. For more than 20 years, he has produced compelling visual stories for international publications, global brands and nonprofit organizations. His work combines authentic storytelling with striking imagery, capturing people, places and cultures throughout Vietnam and across Asia.

Assignments have taken him further afield: to Kenya for the northern white rhinos, Malaysia for a gibbon rescue, and throughout the Pacific and the Americas. Wherever the work takes him, Hanoi remains his home base.

Commercial work: Mott Visuals

Justin co-founded Mott Visuals with his wife, Quynh Anh Mott. The Hanoi-based video and photography production studio creates commercial campaigns and brand content across Asia and beyond. As Creative Director and lead photographer, Justin works with a team built for complex productions in hospitality, fashion, technology, and travel.

Teaching: AskMott

Through AskMott, Justin offers photography education through a monthly membership, one-to-one coaching, and small-group workshops in Vietnam. He has also taught for Leica Akademie and Canon, and hosted and judged History Channel’s Photo Face-Off for five seasons.
